How to add the chatbot to WordPress
- In your WordPress dashboard go to Plugins → Add New, search for WPCode (“Insert Headers and Footers”), then install and activate it.
- Go to Code Snippets → Header & Footer.
- Paste your chatbot snippet into the Footer box.
- Click Save Changes.
- If you use a caching plugin (WP Rocket, LiteSpeed, W3 Total Cache) or a CDN, clear the cache, then open your site in a private window to see the chat button.
Tips for WordPress
- Avoid pasting the code into your theme’s footer.php: a theme update will erase it.
- If you use a page builder (Elementor, Divi), the footer-code method above still works on every page.
- Script-optimization plugins that delay JavaScript are fine; the chatbot loads after your content anyway.
